Project Coordinator
Overview
Responsibilities
Description: The Project Coordinator will provide contract management, business process standardization, requirements management, training, and Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) program implementation. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and audit NIA’s Requirements and Procurement Management System (RPMS) Acquisition Data Tool, ensuring the tool is complete and accurate
- Coordinate with RPMS developers to enhance the tool’s capabilities
- Track and monitor Contracting Officer Representative’s (CORs) training requirements and delinquencies through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) tool
- Implement Enterprise DAWIA Program by scheduling Naval Acquisition Development/ Defense Acquisition University courses and tracking acquisition professional’s certification status
- Provide oversight for the Enterprise Acquisition Program by attending Project Management Reviews with CORs, Intelligence Center Executives, and Vendors
- Provide direct support to NIA’s Senior Acquisition Executive (Government) and Senior Project/Program Manager, as well as the team
- Assist Acquisition Team with developing and implementing policy and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- Associates Degree (desired) or High School Degree with 3-years of experience in a similar position
Experience:
- 3 years’ experience defining and documenting Acquisition and Contract Management processes and tracking/measuring success
- 3 years’ experience researching, identifying, and communicating government and industry best practices as they relate to contract management
- Familiar with DoD/IC Acquisition procedures and policies
Skills & Technology Used:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, Project)
- Requirement and Procurement Management System (RPMS)
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
