Description

The Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Site Reliability Engineer to work at a Government site in Springfield, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the RECON mission. In this mission we provide Research and Development (R&D) services, technical engagement, and outreach focused on new techniques, algorithms, and tools in support of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for R&D project availability, automation, feature performance and deployment.

  • Implement and maintain system tools for monitoring HPC and other system on-prem resources.

  • Coordinate and integration with broader Enterprise continual monitoring services.

  • Implement and maintain project on-prem components as designated by the Product Owner.

  • Work with Security Engineer to provide and resolve on-premise related security relevant technical details during ATO of main project applications and their subcomponents.

  • Sustain/improve existing project CI/CD pipelines.

  • Use existing CI/CD pipelines as a guide to implementing like configuration on other domains/environments as designated by the Product Owner.

  • Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge.

  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

  • Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI security clearance with willingness and ability to obtain a Poly.

  • BS degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.

  • 10+ years’ experience with either system administration/cloud engineering/DevOps engineering for DoD, federal, or commercial clients.

  • 3+ years’ experience with Linux.

  • 3+ years’ experience with AWS.

  • 3+ years maintaining DevSecOps/DevOps pipelines.

  • Direct experience with, and knowledge of, the activities required to obtain and maintain an Authority to Operate (ATO) for the DoD/Intelligence community.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with networking concepts at the intermediate to advanced level.

  • 1+ years working with git command line interface.

  • Experience running security scans in an automated setting.

  • Ansible/Terraform.

  • AWS cloud certification.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00
