Technical Analyst III (Sr)

Overview

V2X is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support our client, the Defense Security Cooperation University at WPAFB. This exciting opportunity will be a rewarding chance to learn and support our country in the Security Cooperation enterprise. We need a MS PowerApps Developer who will help drive the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable, durable, and secure low code no code applications and services. Someone who uses extensive technical expertise to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to complex problems with user centric design for the client. You’ll develop front-end solutions and applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, out-of-the-box SharePoint features, workflow tools, or SharePoint Designer-created applications.

• Ability to configure, deploy, administer, and test web-based applications using Microsoft Power Automate, PowerApps, Power Platform Architecture/principals, Dataverse, and Model Driven App Application Development (M365, SharePoint Online, and Teams will be the primary access point for these applications)
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts
• Analyze functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues utilizing a variety of tools and technologies.
• Team-oriented, must work closely with other developers and quality assurance engineers to create fixes and enhancements to applications.
• Experience in using standard connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, answer technical questions from customers, and be able provide efficient technical solutions to problems.
• Identify business processes where Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be leveraged to facilitate meaningful improvements.
• Deploy Power Platform custom applications following customer release processes.

Education / Certifications:

• Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience may be substituted of at least 10 years in IT field in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in IT field
• Experience in writing technical documentation and proper operational hand-off of any developed solutions.
• Prior experience with workflow or data transaction solutions preferred.
• Migration Experience with SharePoint or PowerApps migration across multiple environments (Preferably, tenant to Tenant M365 Migration experience)
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI (dataflows, datasets, reports, visualizations, KPI scorecards)

• Telework may be available depending on the specific assignment and must be approved by the Program Manager/Contract. Travel may be required 5%.
