The Defense Group of Leidos has an immediate opening for a Configuration Manager located at the Pentagon. This position requires an active Top Secret SCI DoD security clearance.

The Configuration Manager will support the G2 Army MI Enterprise / ARIES program which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems and will provide direct support to the DAMI-IM enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement CM policy across multiple development teams

• Perform CM audits as required to ensure complete archives, CM library updates, etc.

• Write and publish CM reports on activities, status of configuration items, and audits.

• Perform administrative configuration management responsibilities/tasks such as updating configuration/change management databases, diagrams, etc.

• Ensure that all delivered contract products (reports, software, etc.) are accurate, complete, and meet the defined Government standard.

• Manage Asset database (ASID) of all IT hardware equipment to include periodic inventories of equipment.

• Maintain integrity of all work products developed and delivered under this contract.

• Assist in the management of and provide administrative support to the configuration management process.

• Maintain, manage, and control the configuration of identified items such as process documentation, policies, and training materials.

• Ensure that configuration management policy, practices, and standards are fully enforced.

• Work on complex problems where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

• Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Basic Qualifications

• An active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

• Current Security+|ce or higher DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification

• Experience with Microsoft Visio, CADopia 6 or CAD related software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified International Configuration Manager (CICM) Certification

• Experience working with demanding high ranking customers and staff.

• Knowledge of the following systems and tools: Automated Systems Integration Database (ASID)
