Summary of Job Duties:JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Supervise students in the clinical and skills lab setting.
• Maintain student attendance and grades.
• Document student successful and unsuccessful performance of nursing skills.
• Assist with the evaluation process of student performance.
• Attend monthly faculty meetings as determined by the Clinical Coordinator, Program Chair, or Dean.
• Attend advisory committee meetings as scheduled.
• Participate in the systematic evaluation process of the nursing program.
• Maintain working knowledge in the teaching and nursing field by attendance in workshops.
• Attend and support UACCM functions.
• Attend orientation meetings as required by the Program Chair and/or Dean.
• Serve as a positive role model for students, staff, and colleagues.
• Represent UACCM as requested.
• Adhere to UACCM and the Department of Nursing Policies.
• Ensure student compliance with all policies, program/student guides and the course syllabus. Document deficiencies in compliance in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must have a commitment to working cooperatively with all campus personnel to fulfill the Mission of UACCM, and have the ability to deliver quality customer services.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a valid, unencumbered Arkansas Registered Nurse License.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program
Have a working knowledge of the rules, regulation, principles, and policies of various areas of nursing.
Have a current TB skin test and CPR certification (Provider C).
Have proof of the following immunizations: Hepatitis B; T-Dap; MMR; Varicella; current flu.
Must be able to travel to clinical sites and work the assigned number of hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of (1) year of clinical nurse experience.
Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
