Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability
- Monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability
- Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve long term system performance issues
- Ensure system readiness and compliance with design/ license basis.
Job Specific Qualifications
- BS Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
- 7 - 15 years related industry experience
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiar with mechanical engineering concepts and operations
- The candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business
- Available for Shift Work. Must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
- Greater than five years of experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering
- SRO license/certification or System Engineering
- MS or PE
