Location New Stanton, PA

Wectec Staffing is seeking an Engineer II, for our New Stanton, PA facility, to support the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB)! The New Stanton site works on projects to bolster plant safety and reliability by providing the electrical, instrumentation and control (I&C), and mechanical products and services that our customers require. This position is within the Non-OEM Products Group and is responsible to support design, manufacture, testing, and delivery of high-quality non-Westinghouse products.

Your Day to Day:

• Preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and purchase requisitions for various Electrical Products
• Work effectively as part of a cross-functional team including quality engineering, supply chain management, marketing, customer service, and the supplier base
• Provide technical input during the proposal process
• Development and/or maintenance of Material Master Data and Parts Baselines in SAP
• Determination of critical equipment characteristics to support equipment qualification and commercial grade dedication
• Assist in the development of equipment qualification test procedures, support during testing, evaluate test results and preparation and peer review of final reports
• Preparation and review of Commercial Dedication Instructions
• Development of Engineered solutions to address obsolescence issues for various electrical products
• Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products
  

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant engineering experience
• Nuclear Certifications preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Experience with writing technical requirements for the procurement of equipment and developing the input for these specifications is a plus
