Description

This position effectively manages inventory and coordinate movements of Conoco Phillip’s equity production in support of the Commercial Gulf Coast Crude Marketing function and associated business units. This role ensures operational issues are managed in a timely and efficient manner through coordination and focus on both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will facilitate both domestic and international cargo operations, and directly interface with Crude Marketing, Optimization Trading, Commercial Marine, Market Analysts, Accounting, F&PA, and external commercial business associates.

Your responsibilities may include\:

  • Manages operational activities to effectively support all current and future month delivery obligations in conjunction with both internal and external personnel
  • Optimizes logistics agreements for effective utilization of COP equity and all associated assets
  • Negotiate delivery windows that support customer needs while providing effective obligation management in support of Commercial Marketing contracts and operations
  • Coordinate with inspection companies and counterparties in handling vessel loading and discharge operations
  • Maintains terminal position management and pipeline nomination activities in support of optimizing the netback for stakeholders
  • Ensures cross regional alignment with upstream and downstream schedulers
  • Serves as a key contact for managing accounting issues related to Gulf Coast scheduling movements
  • Provides vacation relief as a member of the U.S. Crude Oil & NGL Operations Team
  • Develops, leads, and actively participates in cross-functional teams

Basic/Required\:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
  • 3 years of direct experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • 1 years of experience and/or exposure to crude marketing activity
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS O365 applications\: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to provide 24/7 coverage
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis

Preferred\:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or other related field, or foreign equivalent
  • 1 years of experience in role that requires analytical, accounting, and problem-solving skills to accurately interpret data and provide meaningful solutions and recommendations
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of Commercial pipeline, truck, and waterborne operations
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in ETRM systems, i.e., RightAngle, SAP
  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
  • Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
  • Listens actively and invites new ideas for exchanged opinions, then influences and acts to drive positive performance and achieve results
