Director, Price Management

Summary:

In this role, you will identify and recommend opportunities for healthcare providers to increase price accuracy and decrease supply costs. You will define, implement, and execute the overall price management strategy, operational metrics, and associated processes to ensure successful delivery of the price management service as defined in customer agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to a team of managers and analysts to ensure price management goals are met.

• Maximize relationships with the Vizient GPO members to increase their operational productivity and ensure high customer satisfaction with subscription services.

• Lead efforts to identify the root cause of price issues and collaborate with customers, various Vizient teams, and suppliers to facilitate the resolution.

• Identify and execute on opportunities to increase staff productivity and efficiency.

• Identify opportunities to expand and improve existing services to provide additional value to customers.

• Collaborate with IT/Product Management to aid in the technology roadmap and software application design, resolve application bugs, and communicate enhancement requests.

• Promote and educate customers and internal stakeholders on services provided (i.e., reports, reporting standards, “self-serve” tools) to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 7 or more years of relevant work experience required.

• Knowledge of GPOs, purchasing data, contracts, tiers, and pricing preferred.

• Experience managing a team of 5-10 high performing employees preferred.

• Understanding of healthcare providers and suppliers as well as their relationships with each other is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills desired.
