Lead Resource Manager

Summary:
In this role you will lead and direct resourcing strategy, methodologies, process, and capacity planning. You will be accountable for planning, control, and execution of all staffing processes for full-time employees including the activities further defined below. You will work to establish, improve, and adopt principles, processes and technologies which enable effective resource management in line with the objectives of the Vizient services organization. will collaborate with professionals who are working in specific domains and solution areas, driving operational excellence, and ensuring our services organization meets their financial and business objectives. You will focus on building capabilities, increasing impact, and helping these professionals to balance the competing priorities of various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and execute strategies that promote the efficient and effective management of consulting resources.
Collaborate with pricing and staffing leads to place the right people in the right positions on engagements, ensuring project success across domains and business segments.
Partners with domain and subdomain leaders to identify opportunities for individual staff and optimize utilization of billable resources; makes staffing recommendations in support of the service organization’s strategy.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to facilitate the efficient management of consulting resources.
Proactively review resources and staffing data and communicate meaningful insights on trends and forecasts; identifies and communicates areas of concern and makes recommendations on opportunities for improvement.
Leads the creation of reporting & analytics that highlight key staffing metrics, manage capacity, and forecasts staffing needs.
Owns the process for project feedback, ensures appropriate coverage for all billable resources, and provides performance insights to people and business leaders.
Maintains a deep understanding of full talent landscape within each domain, analyses pipeline opportunities to understand future talent needs, and participates in recruiting process/makes recommendations to ensure appropriate talent capacity.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree(s) and health care experience preferred.
7 or more years of relevant experience leading and directing a resourcing group within a services organization, ideally within a healthcare consulting company.
Understanding of key resource management metrics and how these metrics impact financial performance and member engagement delivery.
Comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
Track record of process improvement and influencing change.
Strong excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
Excellent communication skills and highly collaborative working style required.
Willingness to create new tools and processes and comfortable with ambiguity.

Estimated Hiring Range:
$102,400.00 - $152,200.00This position is also incentive eligible.
