Senior Software Engineer

Summary:

In this role, you will use best practices and knowledge of internal and external business operations to improve products or services. You will solve complex problems and bring a new perspective to the usage of existing solutions. You will mentor employees in the immediate group.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, code, test, deliver and debug software.
• Implement larger, more complex stories spanning multiple technology domains.
• Facilitate and lead story breakup and grooming.
• Drive feature level architecture/design sessions.
• Participate in product level architecture/design sessions.
• Recommend actions to improve procedures and standards.
• Identify and communicate technical trends and/or emerging technology.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience writing complex SQL/T-SQL is required.
• Strong experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing is required.
• Extensive experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment is required.
• Strong experience in ETL architecture and experience in ADF and SSIS is required.
• Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration, TDD, and Paired Programming strongly preferred.
• Azure cloud experience is highly preferred.
• TypeScript programming experience is preferred.
• Experience with emerging cloud platform technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Cloud Foundry, Openshift, AWS Web Services, or other PaaS technologies preferred
