Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist

At UCLA Health, UCan do all this and more.We're looking for a nurse leader to serve as a content expert, performance improvement facilitator, educator, and consultant as you define and drive vital quality improvement and safety initiatives. As a key leadership team member, you'll collaborate with physician and nursing leadership, residents, clinical staff, and administrative / operational staff in order to achieve the best outcomes and patient experience. You will be responsible for data and event monitoring, peer review coordination, facilitation of QI efforts (including Lean methodologies), and educating provider teams. This position may also involve leading system-wide quality initiatives that impact multiple hospitals, service lines and clinical areas. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring we remain an organization with an uncompromising focus on patient safety and outcomes.Qualifications
To qualify, you must have a BSN, current RN licensure and:
* A minimum of three years of direct patient care/clinical experience
* Two years of experience in quality/patient safety strongly preferred
* Computer proficiency with EHR, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
* National Certification preferred
