Registered Diet Technician (DTR) - Santa Monica, Part Time
Responsibilities
In this position, you will providedaily nutrition care for patients. You will perform nutrition screens, gather
information from patients, modify/correct menus as well as perform nutrition
education and documents in the medical record. You will work as a team member and interact with other health care team
members, participate in departmental
activities, meetings, committees, performance improvement and other nutrition
related tasks. You will also assist with food service tasks such as allergies and the eating disorder program/menu development.
Qualifications
Required:
- Diet Technician through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- One year of patient care experience working in a hospital setting
- Strong electronic health record charting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred:
- Academic hospital experience
