Senior Audiologist, Per Diem
Responsibilities
Administer
and interpret the full range of audiological tests from comprehensive
Audiological evaluation, immittance measures, otoacoustic measures,
electrophysiological measures for differentiation of conductive, cochlear,
neural hearing loss, and pseudohypoacusis.
Provide
diagnostic services at bedside, including adapted audiologic evaluations
and auditory electrophysiology (ABR and/or ASSR) under sedation as
indicated, at bedside or in the operating room.
Provide
audiologic treatment including hearing aid and cochlear implant candidacy
determination; fitting, verifying and validating amplification systems;
patient and family counseling, and communication with other care-providers
for child/adult.
Complete
documentation reports of diagnostic and treatment services in a timely
manner.
Provision
of services in a manner consistent with CICARE goals and requirements.
Participate
in Audiology, HNS and other medical staff teams to facilitate and
promote best patient and family care.
California
Audiology License
Experience
in pediatric and adult audiology, including hearing aid dispensing
Cochlear
implant skills preferred
