Responsibilities
This position is a great opportunity for students interested in issues of importance in the disability community and communications. The Tarjan Center, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities has projects that address a wide variety of issues for individuals with disabilities in postsecondary education, employment, the arts, health, and wellness. Under the direction of Tarjan staff,you will:
- Conduct Internet research related to Tarjan Center projects
- Curate and edit content and educational materials on our websites
- Assist with editing reports
- Create infographics,
- Help to increase our online and social media presence of current and ongoing projects.
Skilled in video editing, social media platforms, and creating appealing visual products
Skilled in working in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent writing and editing skills
Highly organized and reliable
Ability to prioritize work
Strong communication skills to speak clearly and distinctly
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Maintain positive working relationships with staff and faculty
Skilled in video editing, social media platforms, and creating appealing visual products
