Assistant to the CMO and Medical Directors-Venice Family Clinic
Responsibilities
Venice Family Clinic is a community health center whose
mission is 'To provide quality primary health care to people in need.' Venice
Family Clinic cares for over 27,000 low-income patients in over 120,000 visits
annually who might otherwise go without critically needed health care services.
Venice Family Clinic has fourteen locations with over 420 staff, 1,300
volunteers, and a budget of $70 million. We provide high quality, comprehensive
primary and specialty health care, dental, mental health, substance use
treatment and child development services to underserved individuals and
families on the Westside of Los Angeles.
In this role, you will direct administrative,
operational and technical support to the Chief Medical Officer and the
Associate Medical Directors, including coordinating peer review and
credentialing for providers and other licensed personnel. You will collaborate with the
Assistant to the Associate Medical Directors to manage provider appointment
schedules and the provider rosters. You must be discreet and able to work with highly confidential information.
- Administrative experience is
preferred - Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills - Ability to prioritize and organize
workload to optimize efficiency, respond to change in business
requirements and complete assignments on schedule - Interpersonal skills to interact
professionally, courteously, and diplomatically with persons of diverse
social, cultural, and economic backgrounds - Outstanding organizational and
management skills - High level of proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in Outlook, Visio,
and Adobe Acrobat a plus
Ability
to work in electronic medical records - Required.
