Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - IVAS
Responsibilities
Under supervision,Staff Pharmacist I's perform a range of functions that include the preparation
and dispensing of drugs in IVAS; ensures that the work is completed by the completion
deadline; ensures that all activity in the IVAS hood area is consistent with
sterile dose preparation policies and procedures; ensures that patients' IV
medications are prepared and dispensed accurately according to departmental
policy and procedures, along with Federal and CA drug laws; evaluates
orders/prescriptions and/or profiles for appropriateness; performs clinical
activities of the practice area thoroughly, accurately and effectively.
Compliant with USP797 and USP800 standards as enforced by CA Board of Pharmacy
and UCLA protocols.Qualifications
