As a Talent
Acquisition Consultant, you will recruit to fill a broad range of
positions at UCLA Health. This will involve working closely with
management to develop recruitment strategies by assessing the local
market for designated positions and identifying recruitment trends and
market changes. You will:

  • Establish and maintain strong rapport with internal departments and hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain diverse applicant pools.
  • Follow-up with applicants regarding their applicant status.
  • Post job requisitions to the UCLA Health website.
  • Screen
    applicants as well as conduct phone and in-person interviews to ensure
    applicants meet licensing, certification, education and experience
    requirements.
  • Represent UCLA Health at local, state and national career fairs and conferences.

In
collaboration with the Director of Compensation and Principle Analysts,
you will also address compensation issues related to hiring.

Qualifications

We're seeking a self-motivated professional with:

  • At least 3 years of healthcare and/or academic medical center recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting research/education positions preferred
  • Peoplesoft and Cornerstone experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of federal EEO/AA laws and California employment law.
  • Strong collaboration, customer service, communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer proficiency MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, and Internet sourcing techniques.
  • Proven success using of a variety of sourcing techniques preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Bachelor's strongly preferred
