In this key position, you will skillfully apply the art and science of diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics for all patient populations through the safe and effective use of radionuclides. This will involve operating multi-modality imaging systems (i.e., PET/CT, SPECT/CT) while rotating through multiple locations. You will:

* Perform patient interviews, instruction, and care

* Prepare and calibrate equipment

* Ensure quality control

* Administer radiopharmaceutical compounds

* Execute patient imaging and therapeutic procedures

* Apply radiation physics and safety regulations to limit radiation exposure

* Participate in medical and technical research to elevate quality of care

Please note this position will be at our new Encino, CA location located at 15503 Ventura Blvd.

Qualifications

We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with:

* Certification/licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist or advanced CT certification

* Three to five years of experience in nuclear medicine preferred

* Expertise in the use of scintillation gamma cameras, well counters, radiation survey detectors, and clinical acquisition

* Strong communication and technical comprehension skills

* Ability to effectively convey technical information to people of various backgrounds

* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multitasking and prioritizing abilities

* Ability to work well with minimal supervision

* Flexibility in working rotating shifts and hours

* Ability to staff multiple dual modality scanners in separate locations on a rotational basis
