Cousins Center Study Assistant
Responsibilities
The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human behavior is seeking
to hire a part-time Student Assistant to join the Cousins Center for
Psychoneuroimmunlogy. You will work in lab research studies examining the
interrelationships between behavior and immunity. Primary duties include:
- Organize human blood samples for assays
- Data input in excel spreadsheets for blood inventory
- Assist with variety of research data core administrative tasks as required
Must be current UCLA student
Proficiency using Microsoft Windows and
Excel
Organizational skills and attention to
detail
Ability to work independently, to follow
instructions, and to work cooperatively other staff members
Ability to sensitively, effectively, and
discretely handle confidential data and subject information
Ability to work under multiple deadlines and
complete work in a timely manner
