Responsibilities
Join our UCLA Health- Thousand Oaks Practice as a FNP:
The Nurse Practitioner will support the providers in the clinic and with in-basket messages.
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate 'standardized procedures' (SP). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition, and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725). Provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. Participate in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provide education and support as well as make appropriate referrals. Document services rendered. Maintains efficient patient flow within the clinic. Works closely with Department leadership in the development and implementation of physician support services.

Active CA RN and CA NP license - required
MSN/DNP with a FNP specialty -required
National Certification in NP specialty -required
Pediatric and adult experience -required
Minimum of two (2) years experience as a FNP -required
BLS certification from ARC or AHA-required
