The Role at a Glance

In this role, you will provide support to clinical operations by extracting medical records from our claim system in order to prep the file for physician review and assist with routing physician referrals to vendors as needed.

What you'll be doing

  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Delivers highly routine work in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
  • Performs basic task/transactions related to common programs and services by acquiring core knowledge required for the role.
  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Effectively manages physician referral queues to ensure timely processing and achieves department productivity goals.
  • Routes physician referrals to peer vendors in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Completes all rush referral requests same day in accordance with department time service standards.
  • Provide back-up production support to medical records and file support functions on request.
  • Completes additional work assignments as needed.

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

  • High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. (Minimum Required)
  • Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Nice - to - haves:

  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations.
  • Demonstrates ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
  • Works with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and/or variances.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret internal documents such as but not limited to policy and procedures and standard operating procedures.

Level: N1-1

Pay Range: $14.01 - $21.01

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
