Job Description The Senior Manager / Associate Director, Pricing and Reimburesment, neuromuscular disease (NMD) will support the development and execution of global pricing and market access strategies for Biogen’s pipeline NMD portfolio. This successful candidate will report to the Director, Portfolio lead, and will be responsible for providing strategic and technical expertise to support Biogen’s portfolio in NMD therapies. The Senior Manager / Associate Director will support and/or lead global strategy development in the areas of pricing strategy, reimbursement submissions, adaptation of value materials, communications, and tools as well as engagement with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. The role spans a variety of payer system types and involves establishing strong working relationships with the Regional and Local Access leads, global functions such as Commercial, Medical, Clinical Development, Public Policy & Government Affairs personnel, among other Biogen functional colleagues. What You’ll Do Support / Lead development of Pricing and Access research to best prepare for creating optimal pricing/reimbursement/market access environment for Biogen’s ALS pipeline portfolio, including product positioning, value story development, and customer engagement. Lead development of global strategies for genetic testing, to ensure optimal access environment when launching key products. Support establishment of the global footprint for Biogen in ALS. Prepare and support required materials for global pricing council to ensure alignment along key pathways. Leverage proximity to key global functions (Commercial Development, Medical, Clinical Development, Public and Government Affairs) while working in close partnership with regional and country market access leads. Proactively plan/manage/communicate key pre-launch strategies to ensure flawless execution of regional and local tactics. Other job duties that may be assigned. May be modified at any time as business needs require. Who You Are You are passionate about ensuring patient access to therapies and a desire to focus in rare neurological diseases. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience with minimum of 2 years experience in market access, reimbursement, government affairs, commercial functions within the biopharma industry Technical understanding of pricing, reimbursement, commercialization methods Working knowledge key global healthcare systems and pricing and reimbursement requirements; and ability to apply expertise to a diverse set of market types Excellent communication, diplomatic and presentation skills Ability to travel as needed; up to 20% Preferred Skills · Experience in affiliate level market access function · Understanding of specialty and rare disease therapeutic areas desirable Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
