The Training Coordinator will support the Itasca, IL branch lab and training of new employees assigned to Hospitals in this territory. This position will work on 2nd Shift- should be available Noon-10PM. Hopsitals supported in this territory are located in Elmhurst, Oak Park, Chicago, Naperville, Aurora, Munster and Merrillville, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Training of new and existing employees regarding accessioning process and procedures , including LabCorp systems.

•Conduct retraining and education as needed for purposes of work performance enhancement and general education.

•Serves as a procedural and compliance resource for employees in assigned areas, including new account implementation.

A successful candidate will have patience, speak clearly, interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point), the ability to motivate people, as well as great organizational skills.

Excellent customer service skills at all levels are required, and the ability to relate professionally with people is imperative, as the goal is to build positive employee relations within the region.
