Advisor, Application Development

Job Description
ProCare Pharmacy LLC., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Monroeville, PA: Advisor, Application Development to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: write new code and improve existing code, ensuring applications work properly and are able to integrate with the companys existing database infrastructure; develop, test, and deploy Java Application Programming Interface (API) definitions, protocols, and/or tools as part of software
development projects; utilize advanced knowledge of high-level programming languages (Java scripts) and the JSON data exchange format to develop API functionalities for Specialty Pharmacy System applications; develop functionality and features for these applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; leverage continuous delivery software engineering methodologies to ensure software development projects are completed and deployed with increased speed and frequency; contribute to validations through which the application must pass on its way to being deployed ensure quality control; compile code and package the application by a build server when a change is committed to a source control repository; test the code before it can be marked as releasable; and utilize Object-relational mapping (ORM) techniques and the JPA and/or Hibernate frameworks to convert data between incompatible type systems.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 90,000
Maximum: 180,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with each of the following: Angular; Java Microservices; Agile Methodologies; Oracle; PL/SQL; UNIX Shell Scripts; Test Cases; HTML5; CSS3; DOM; JavaScript; JQuery; Ajax; and JSP.
