The Retail Growth Team oversees the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of all promotional strategies to drive profitable growth and consumer engagement. This team works closely with our Suppliers, and internal partners such as Merchandising, Digital, and Marketing leadership to develop best-in-class promotional strategies across all vehicles. The team uses deep category and consumer knowledge to analyze market trends and dynamics, develop promotional events that drive consumer engagement, analyze, and optimize promotional effectiveness, vendor/brand economics and productivities, customer loyalty, and related optimization opportunities across various levers.

The Senior Manager, Omni Growth Strategy is charged with developing omnichannel promotional growth programs that inspires customers to consistently choose CVS as their health and wellness go-to retailer. These programs will be tailored for in-store and online shopping and will span across our top promotional vehicles (personalization and mass promotions). The Senior Manager will develop a deep understanding of the CVS customer and be responsible for developing events and category growth strategies and will play an integral role in influencing customer-centric thinking across CVS retail. This role will be the master of what’s happening with our customers, help develop category strategy, drive critical customer analysis for the Front Store, identify and exploring customer attributes, behavior patterns, and changes to find pockets of opportunity for action. You will touch and work with many teams, including Promotions, Loyalty & Personalization, Retail Analytics, Merchandising, Digital Product Development, Consumer Insights and Retail Marketing

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
4+ years of relevant experience part of experience must be in either Management Consulting or Retail/CPG – with strong preference towards Management Consulting for a top tier firm. Specific experience in Retail category management, CPG, or vendor management a strong plus - leading strategic/ commercial projects with significant business impact

Must be within a commutable distance to RI headquarter 2-3 times per week.

Preferred Qualifications
• Merchandising familiarity - understanding of retail merchandising basics (i.e., Category Management), and merchandising organizational structures and processes
• Retail/CPG experience and/or experience analyzing large customer / transaction data sets
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Education
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience; MBA strongly preferred; Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and/or other quantitative analytical degree a plus
