Java Full-Stack Software Engineer

Job Description
As a Senior Java Fullstack Software Engineer with CVS Health Platform Innovation, you will participate on an Agile Programming Product Team of 6-10 people and work with
the team to build high quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders in our new innovation labs. You will help educate both business and technology personnel on the agile and XP eXtreme development process and create products from discovery and framework through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a user- centered and business as priority approach in design perspective and practice.

A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. The position is located in the Buffalo Grove, IL office, and candidates must be able to be in the office to work with product teams on a hybrid basis.

The CVS health platform innovation scrum teams are a mix of a Product Managers, UX designers as well as highly skilled Java Engineers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working in a paired programming collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies
- Designing efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs
- Developing code utilizing test-driven development

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 70,000
Maximum: 140,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of overall IT experience
3+ months of Java development experience
3+ months of Typescript (Angular or React) development experience
1+ years of software development life cycle experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud development experience
- PaaS, SaaS development experience
- Rest API development - SQL - Splunk
- Docker
- Kumbernetes
- TypeScript framework front- end experience
- Java 11 and SpringBoot experience*
- Angular 8+ experience*

Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, but will accept a verifiable H.S. Diploma / GED with one year of work experience for every year of college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
