Job Description
This position can be located anywhere in the U.S.A.

This position’s primary responsibility is preparing content for and designing/leading analysis in support of the commercial actuarial monthly operating review process.
Collaborate with key business partners in finance, local markets, and other actuarial teams to develop a cohesive story that thoroughly explains our financial results for the month, quarter and year.
Play an integral role in reviewing and establishing the reserve position each month.
Lead and direct special projects as needed.
The role has a high level of direct senior leadership interaction during the monthly close process.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 162,700

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of related work experience
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries)
- Prior Commercial background along with Finance knowledge is required
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Database Experience
- Excel VBA and SQL experience
- Experience in modeling, pricing, reserving, or forecasting
- Demonstrates initiative and leadership in achieving results

Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial/Math/Statistics/Finance preferred
- Actuarial designation (ASA/FSA)
