This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in Lingo.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for enabling all marketing teams to grow their results faster via experimentation. You will conduct market research, analyze market data, and identify consumer behaviors and trends. Based on your analyses, you will make recommendations and provide launch strategies to increase firm profitability. Working in close partnerships with each team, as an analytical expert, you will advise on implementation tactics and help implement proper experiments. You will also provide strategic insights and recommendations based on quantitative research into web flows, user segmentation, and marketing channel data.
What you’ll do
Research consumer and market trends, target demographics, and competing brands
Design and implement market and consumer surveys
Advise on measurement and goal setting and implement reporting mechanisms
Gather, analyze, and interpret marketing data
Prepare detailed reports on consumer behavior and competitors’ activities, outcomes, and sales
Monitor customer bases and identify new ones
Forecast future market, consumer, and sales trends
Inform and develop marketing strategies with the marketing team
Develop and champion a vision for data-driven marketing and drive the adoption of best practices
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience in data analytics
Solid experience in SQL as well as advanced Excel (visualization, pivot tables, etc.)
Solid experience and expertise using SQL, Adobe Analytics and data visualization tools (i.e PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
Expertise in e-commerce experiments and conversion analysis
Passion working cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to connect information and provide actionable insights for key decision making
Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
University degree in analytics, business intelligence, or similar disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a scripting language (i.e. python) and pulling data from relational databases
Experience using Databricks and Azure
