Senior Developer Lead
Job Description
Senior Develop/Lead position on HEDIS development team is individual contributor responsible in deriving technical specs , development for NCQA HEDIS measure requirements.
Developer lead will be working with business stakeholders and various IT areas to deliver the required HEDIS measure rates for the annual health plan accreditation process.
•Lead the team responsible for updates, maintenance, testing, execution of annual NCQA measure specification changes for all lines of business.
•Convert various Quality measures (HEDIS , State performance measures, regulatory measures, CMS measures) requirements to technical specification and develop metadata to pass for the defined framework on Hadoop platform in generating measure rates.
•Hands-on experience and knowledge HCB data and processes to direct teams in solutions.
•Participate in key Business Initiatives and recommend business and IT technical solutions to business partners.
•Provide estimates and level of effort as required.
•Developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines.
•Provide research and analysis support to business queries regarding data quality using Hadoop databases to perform data profiling/data analysis/root cause analysis on big data platform using Aginity, Python and Hue.
•Analyze and design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames.
•Responsible for testing of NCQA provided data through internal measure processing framework.
•Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with high level of attention to detail.
•Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities as well as exceptional customer service orientation
•Competent to work with minimal supervision in a technical capacity on most phases of the development cycle.
•Competent to work on multiple assignments and meet the respective due dates.
•Experience working with SAFE agile methodology
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 115,000
Maximum: 230,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years’ experience with business/data analysis.
• 3+ years’ experience in following programming languages and technical tools:
Tools to access Hadoop DB, Python, Scala, SQL Server, SAS, .NET and SQL
• Experience in HEDIS and STARS Measures
• 3+ years of experience of agile development methodology
Preferred Qualifications
Background in software engineering, data systems and/or data management
Rally experience
Cloudera/Hortonworks Hadoop knowledge
Google GCP, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and related cloud data service
Exposure to Data Science, BI, and Analytics systems
Engaging and concise speaking and presentation skills
Education
Bachelors required
