We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Manager of Supply Chain Projects to join our team. The role is accountable for managing day to day supply chain projects and initiatives throughout the E2E value stream. Scope includes all product stages and such activities as systems implementations, new product launches, process improvements, risk management, budgeting, supporting long-term planning. This role will interface with several cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and other functional groups as required to support supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tools and processes to drive continuous improvement throughout the E2E supply chain.
  • Create Cross-Functional teams that drive Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality improvements.
  • Manage deliverables that support supply chain budgeting and financial performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement project management tools and techniques to help manage several supply chain related projects and initiatives.
  • Track Project milestones against key deliverables, communicate and escalate where appropriate.
  • Contribute to establishment of Supply Chain systems through a project management focus.
  • Track key milestones and critical path activities ensuring on-time deliverables are met.
  • Identify key risks and mitigation steps to ensure project completion.
  • Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
  • Provide support for new product activities within the supply chain function.
  • Provide support for new vendors on-boarding within the supply chain function.
  • Contribute to creation of procedures throughout the Supply Organization which will ensure compliance with GMP regulations such as CAPA, Deviations, Change Controls, SOP, Validation, etc.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in Biologics/Vaccine Operations or support related functions,

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience in supply chain management.
  • PMP certification not mandatory but preferred.
  • Project management/interdisciplinary, cross-functional informal leadership.
  • Communicate project status effectively across a matrixed organization.
  • Cost management, budgeting, and ability to understand financial performance in terms of P&L.
  • Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma processes and tools.
  • Experience with Project management methodology.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with supply chain systems implementation.
  • Contribute to establishment of long-terms supply plans.
  • Knowledgeable with risk assessments and planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, or equivalent software
