The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

We are looking for a data-driven, strategic Senior Web Marketing Product Manager (SPM) who will be responsible for leading the innovation and optimization of our website. This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing ADC’s website marketing rooted in delivering best in class user experience that recruits and retains FreeStyle Libre users around the world.

As the Senior Web Marketing Product Manager you will be responsible for web initiatives across the entire lifecycle, from strategy and planning through technical and creative dependencies, production, QA, launch, and post-launch analysis. You must have a solid background in technical site optimization and SEO, editing for the web, web metrics reporting, and A/B and multivariate testing.

You will also have the ability to work with marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to create and execute the unified website blueprint that continue to build FreeStyle Libre’s brand equity around the world through putting our customers at the heart of the web journey to deliver a world class web experience and journey.

What You’ll Work On

  • Build and lead our Web discipline. You will be responsible and accountable for the performance of the Web channel

  • Audit technical infrastructure, information architecture and site features, and execute site improvements to enhance the effectiveness of SEO and onsite experience

  • Design and operationalize websites in service of commercial, brand and product strategies that ensure operational efficiencies and consistency across the globe considering the current and future digital customer experience

  • Build scalable web templates, playbooks and governance, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform recommendations to continually improve the experience

  • Develop roadmaps and experiences that contribute to our overall ambition

  • Develop globally unified web marketing and product experience in partnership with Global, Regional and Country Marketing across: Brand, Product, Content, Customer Service and IT

  • Define marketing technology requirements needed to support our Web Marketing and work with IT teams to ensure successful implementation

  • Work with Product Marketing, Brand Ops and Content Strategy teams to build requirements for modules and templates for a variety of segments and audiences

  • Support Regional and Country teams in driving best in class website through consideration, adoption, onboarding and retention journey aligned with the overall customer experience across channels

  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to create wireframes and page components, and deliver effective and compelling online experience

  • Monitoring search engine rankings and adjusting ensure that the site is positioned prominently in search results for keywords associated with the business

  • Leverage experimentation and search optimization to maximize the performance of our channels

  • Developing and implementing strategies for improving recruitment and retention of FreeStyle Libre users through the website

  • Partner with our analytics team on developing and implementing web measurement strategy. Lay out the framework for measurement and reporting to monitor and improve the performance of our website

  • Analyzing website traffic statistics to measure the effectiveness of online campaigns

  • Create requirements and actionable updates from analytics and insights

Pay

The salary range for this position is 118, 100 – 236,100K based on experience.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in web marketing, e-commerce, digital marketing or similar role

  • Experience in development and execution of web projects from initiation to implementation to optimization tied to digital marketing plans

  • Expertise in SEO and SEM. Solid understanding of technical SEO including sitemaps, meta tags, JavaScript indexing, linking, redirects, keyword research, etc.

  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Have a track-record of demonstrating an extraordinary level of ownership, project management and implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence with people outside your immediate team

  • Ability to craft business cases to influence and advocate with different cross-functional partners

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to align efforts across multiple department

  • Deep experience and knowledge of web marketing tools across content management (Contentful/ Adobe Modular Content), web analytics (Google Analytics)/Adobe Analytics), attribution/tracking (GTM, Adobe) and SEO (SEMRush/Crownpeak/Ahrefs/Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
