Sr Software Engineer
Job Description
This role is placed in our Enterprise Identity Services team. Our primary function is the management of the process by which we identify our customers regardless of which channel they engage. The identity demographic information is managed by our team in a technology platform intended to provide this data as a consumable asset to improve the functions of our downstream systems that consume this data. This team is tasked with managing this highly strategic platform and process and manage a product roadmap for implementing an identity asset as a strategic value enabler within CVS Health across all lines of business.
This role will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions that meet business requirements and incrementally move the Enterprise Identity Services platform to the future state.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized and structured in their approach to problem solving, have excellent communication skills that requires adapting to the communication style of different types of stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have current hands-on development experience working in an agile DevOps model within a highly complex technology environment in order to succeed in their role
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to be part of an enterprise mission-critical platform that delivers value to the enterprise and enables innovative cross line of business initiatives. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•You will design and develop APIs and complex functionality within the Enterprise Identity Services platform and develop related project documentation
•You will participate in peer reviews of technical design and code
•You will help define standards / methodologies / guidelines, and ensure compliance while aligning solutions to the Enterprise Identity Services platform architecture

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 90,000
Maximum: 180,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
-5+ years of recent hands-on development experience
-2+ years of experience working with agile DevSecOps model
-2+ years of Java/J2EE development experience
-2+ years hands-on experience working with Relational Databases like DB2/Oracle
-2+ years hands-on experience working with J2EE containers like WebSphere App Server, WebLogic
Linux/AIX
-2+ years hands-on experience in API development
-2+ years hands-on experience CI/CD pipeline experience and related tools like Jenkins, GIT, Maven
Familiarity with agile management tools like Rally Development
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on experience building cloud-native applications on GCP.
-Expertise in Master Data Management concepts and application.
-Healthcare sector experience.
Education
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience is Required
