The Opportunity

Our Des Plaines, IL Headquarters, has an opening for a Operator 1 Production

The key to successful treatment and full recovery is often fast, accurate diagnosis. Abbott’s life-changing tests and diagnostic tools provide insights that enable smarter, faster decisions and transform the way the world is managing health.

Our pioneering technology spans the world of healthcare operations — with medical diagnostic instruments, tests, automation and informatics solutions for hospitals, reference labs, blood centers, emergency departments, physician offices and clinics.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role, you will manufacture products in an FDA regulated environment. You will also operate basic equipment for reagent filling, packaging, and glassware preparation.

Aside from those tasks, you will inspect finished product to ensure basic quality criteria are met. You will also be responsible for documenting work that is performed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

· High school education or equivalent.

· Must be proficient navigating through the Microsoft operating system.

· Must have basic math skills.

· Must understand, speak and document in the English language

Preferred

· Associates degree or lab experience highly preferred.
