Shipping Handler - Part Time - 1st Shift

Job Description
Based on experience and education, new hires in this position are expected to start at $18.05/hr.

As a Shipping Handler, you will be responsible for the supply replenishment, metering, and sortation of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions. You will be cross trained on other shipping functions as assigned within the facility. This role will also ensure accuracy and quality standards are met when performing all shipping functions and metering prior to automated packing. Acts as a liaison across multiple business units for shipping best practices and problem solving

In order to be successful in this role you must be able to stand for 90% of your shift, reach/ twist/ turn/ bend/ stood/ walk and lift up to 40 lbs. During your time at CVS as a Shipping Handler you will be exposed to multiple job functions. This will give you the chance to apply for future promotional opportunities and advance in your career.

This is a PART TIME position with the below schedule: Saturday 8:30am - 5pm and Sunday 2:00pm - 12:30am

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 16.00
Maximum: 25.70

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
– Ability to stand for extended periods of time
– Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 pounds.
– Detail oriented and task focused
– Regular and predictable attendance.
– You will be required to work mandatory overtime/ extended work week when necessary to the business.

Preferred Qualifications
– Experience in Warehouse, Fulfillment Center and/or Inventory Environment
– Experience working on SAP systems.
– Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy.

Education
– Verifiable high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience required
