Job Description
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Architecture to design and develop digital architecture solutions for the CVS. Duties include: perform systems management and integration functions for digital projects between the Business and IT teams; develop and integrate solutions for assigned applications, including complex web application and services, systems administration, and network issues; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; provide technical expertise and mentoring to the development team on systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, and distributed system architectures; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on system performance, reliability, and maintainability; and mentor junior team members. Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: [Register to View] C#, and Visual Studio; WCF Web Services and Web Service APIs; EPIC or Clarity database; SQL Server; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Software development lifecycle; and Providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.
