We have a unique trainee opportunity for an Associate Veterinary Pathologist (Anatomic Pathology). Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for an Associate Veterinary Pathologist at our site in Somerset, NJ. An hour by car from Philadelphia, New York City, the beach and the mountains, our site in the heart of the Raritan Valley has something for everyone.

As an Associate Pathologist you will:

  • Provide support services to Pathology commensurate with current knowledge of veterinary/toxicologic pathology

  • Attend necropsies as required and provide scientific guidance to necropsy and histology technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance with protocols and SOP’s.

  • Have ample time to prepare for ACVP examination.

Education Required:

  • DVM/VMD degree or equivalent

  • Formal pathology residency or graduate studies (i.e. MS, PhD) at an institution in which the training of veterinary pathologists is a primary function.

Experience Required:

  • Little or no previous experience in laboratory animal pathology or related pathology.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
