The Global CX Products & Advanced Analytics team, within the commercial data and technology group (a.k.a Digital Fuel), is driving a fundamental transformation building new, advanced capabilities in customer segmentation, omni-channel measurement, campaign measurement, channel and data orchestration, marketing decision engines, and much more. This role will be accountable for bringing these data capabilities to the US market through the creation of different data and analytics products that will help support the market’s omni-channel transformation, through working closely with critical team (e.g., data science and data engineering teams) to bring these data products to life.

The Director, US Commercial Digital and Data Products will coordinate, review and manage product backlogs across different Product teams in their domain, estimating value and prioritizing delivery, ensuring Agile ways of working are followed. They will be directly impacting the way our engineering and data science teams are working in prioritizing and executing change in features and capabilities in our data products, which in turn will increase performance and product launch effectiveness in-market.

  • Lead a team of complimentary workers and direct reports in developing vision, strategy and roadmap for the data products in the US, aligned to a clear North-star metric and KPIs, defensible to stakeholders and yourself

  • Drive the design and creation of impactful data products that advance the omni-channel strategy in the US, working closely with Data Science and Data Engineering

  • Coach and develop your product and engineering teams to become effective team members that ship valuable work, focused on data-driven decision making and customer centricity

  • Train your team in how to determine and understand your customer’s needs better than anyone, through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis.

  • Work with colleagues from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to set a clear and cohesive strategy for your data products, whilst still maintaining space to incorporate new ideas along the journey

  • Rigorously apply the scientific method and lean start-up thinking to set hypotheses, design experiments, test assumptions and break-down complex problems into smaller chunks to deliver a more valuable product to your customers

  • Measure the impact of all new work released across your Product Family roadmaps, close the value loop and ensure adoption

  • Work as a servant-leader, reducing dependencies, removing blockers and co-ordinating with other product teams and key stakeholders

  • Maintain high credibility and deliver real value by shipping product that make our users’ lives 10x easier

  • Act as the single point of accountability to make sure your product portfolio is performing to maintain high levels of satisfaction with customers around all aspects of the product (BAU and growth).

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BSc degree, advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, business analytics, computer science)

  • Experience leading teams that have developed successful software and data products from concept to adoption

  • Experience working within a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders to manage

  • Knowledge and understanding of product management techniques including customer development, discovery & primary research, lean start-up method and industrialization/scaling-up

  • Experience defining a North-star Metric, KPIs sets and run product teams using OKRs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Directly managed product managers/analysts and are passionate about developing people and maintaining high levels of engagement

  • Understands how to create and balance a healthy-tension between Product, UX & Design and Engineering

  • Proven experience in onboarding yourself and getting up to speed quickly on new products

  • Possess necessary technical knowledge to understand your team’s software products

  • Flexibility to take on new products and technologies to help deliver your customers jobs to be done quickly

  • Ability to set and manage expectations effectively at all levels of the organization
