  1. JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the operations of the Bayview Warehouse, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory (to include controls) and material movements throughout the facility. This includes the execution of timely, and accurate, transactions to ensure all systems are updated to reflect actual vs systemic activities. The Warehouse Supervisor will provide leadership to the warehouse team, to ensure that the goals and objectives of the business, and Supply Chain, are met. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the development of their team and incorporate Operational Excellence practices to develop and maintain a Continuous Improvement culture. Warehouse Supervisor will need to be flexible to support the 24/7 manufacturing operations in Bayview.

  1. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and maintain robust, repeatable, and scalable process to support warehouse activities.
  • Ensure incoming materials are received and managed appropriately according to procedure.
  • Works with warehouse stakeholders to align processes with industry best practices.
  • Ensure material movement throughout the facility is in accordance with demand and production schedule, and all transactions are done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Performance of cycle and physical counts to assure inventory accuracy.
  • Provide routine management information on inventory performance.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with Emergent requirements.
  • Process Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPAs, as required.
  • Provide system oversight for the Non-Conforming Material (NCMR) process.
  • Ensure all Warehouse procedures are kept current and applicable to the operations of the Warehouse.
  • Ensure all Warehouse personnel are adequately trained for the duties assigned.
  • Maintain access, appearance, safety, and control of the warehouse including cold rooms and freezers.
  • Demonstrate leadership by ensuring decision making and communication are focused on Emergent’s vision and values.
  • Ensures efficient cooperation, coordination and integration between the department and other business units.
  • Coaches and develops personnel to enhance current performance and provides corrective counseling if necessary.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • High School Diploma, Associates/Bachelors Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years warehouse experience; Pharmaceutical (cGMP) preferred.
  • Strong leadership, effective communication, critical thinking ability, and demonstrated application of teamwork principles.
  • Good judgment and maturity, and strong analytical skills.
  • Forward thinker with strong industry knowledge and an ability to identify, synthesize, and act upon strategic information and changes within the environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
