Job Purpose and Summary:

As the New Business Sales Director for Long-Term Care you will impact business by leading the performance of teams accountable for selling Long-Term Care pharmacy services to new customers while meeting script, revenue, profitability and bed budget targets. You will be developing and executing on strategic plans to achieve new business growth targets. You and your team will also need to identify innovative opportunities and creative solutions to meet changing customer needs while using the breadth of the CVS Health Enterprise portfolio.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Leading a team of various sales roles and levels in a complex matrix environment by providing ongoing mentorship and coaching

- Building a team culture consistent with CVS Health values

- Holding your team accountable for performance

- Regularly presenting updates to leadership

- Attending prospective client meetings and collaborative market based reviews, leveraging account management and operational resources

Active engagement with the Sales Enablement team to identify and implement training opportunities

Overseeing a rigorous and focused sales management framework to consistently and actively monitor progress towards goals and targets

Collaborating with internal partners including but not limited to Finance, Operations, Account Management, Marketing & Strategy to evolve the performance and growth of the Long-Term Care business.

Position Summary

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of Sales or Account Management experience in Healthcare, Long Term Care or PBM
  • 2 or more years of experience leading teams
  • Willingness and Ability to travel regularly, up to 75%



Preferred Qualifications

  • Documented success leading high performing remote strategic / national account management teams in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and break down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solution in real time
  • Experience tackling issues in a decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind
  • Proven experience performing under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics, and finding solutions that lead to sustainable results
  • Ability to produce creative, innovative solutions representative of entire enterprise
  • Track record of building high performing team and developing key talent;
  • Real passion for bringing new leaders along and helping them to realize their ability to impact the business
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence while tailoring messaging to different audiences, combining executive presence with ability to inspire colleagues and clients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different business functions, different perspectives, and different styles of leadership
  • Working knowledge of computers in a Windows/Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Experience with Salesforce.com

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$105,000.00 - $226,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
