Our goal is to isolate a compound that is effective against a disease target. Using innovative thinking, state-of-the-art facilities and robust scientific methodology we collaborate to discover the next medical breakthrough.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist with expertise in molecular biology, Biochemistry and High content Imaging to join our Neuroscience group at our Company's West Point Site. This exciting role will allow a talented scientist the opportunity to support novel target discovery for neurodegenerative diseases. The primary responsibilities include the design and execution of disease-relevant cell culture studies (cell lines and primary neuronal models), biochemical assays and understand mechanism of action using relevant assays.
The candidate will be supporting validation of discoveries using genetic and pharmacological manipulation in relevant systems and will be a part of a collaborative team. The role will also require the ability to independently keep up with relevant scientific literature, implement new technical expertise and assay development, and be an active participant in the scientific dialogue in project meetings and internal/external scientific meetings.
