Job Description

Position Description:

This position is part of the COSI (Cost of Sales & Inventory) organization, which will perform end to end activities of accounting for units of inventory all through the supply chain. Main tasks will be maintaining, reviewing, reporting and analyzing sales, inventory, intercompany profit, production and product cost data in supporting the monthly accounting close and management cycles for multiple companies.

  • Responsible to maintain and create product cost according US GAAP rules

  • Account for, analyze and report Other Production Costs on a monthly basis to business partners

  • Ensure inventory is accurately stated on a legal (statutory) and consolidated level (External Reporting US GAAP)

  • Analyze PGM to ensure intercompany profit is eliminated appropriately.

  • Meet the S404 requirements by updating documentation and performing/enhancing existing controls.

  • Address entity/divisional customer questions and requests.

  • Participate in special and ad hoc projects to support management analysis and provide ad-hoc quality support to management analysis and business stakeholders, mainly our manufacturing division and GHH.

  • Provide necessary support to Associate Director and other analysts as needed.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Undergraduate Completion in Accounting

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting with strong analytical skills

  • Cost Accounting experience a plus.

  • SAP Experience preferred

  • Proficiency with excel

  • Organizational, analytical and communication skills and an ability to collaborate across areas

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • CPA or MBA
