We are seeking applicants for Maintenance in our Miami, FL corrugated facility located at
3500 NW 110th Street, Miami, FL 33167.

3rd Shift: 11PM to 7AM

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour based on skills ($40.50 - $49.50 per hour, overtime pay rate for hours worked in excess of 40 per week)

PCA provides up to 100 paid training hours per year to help technicians advance through the progressive skill levels and achieve higher pay.

Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.

PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends

SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.

Performs preventive and routine maintenance tasks.

Diagnose and solve problems, reestablishing the functionality of machines and equipment in breakdown condition.

Check the proper operation of equipment and systems.

Demonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products.

Demonstrate ability to teach other maintenance classifications in all qualification requirements and proper maintenance procedures.

Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot A/C and D/C systems.

Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work, assign work to other maintenance classifications according to their abilities and limitations.

Follow up all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properly.

Maximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.

Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.

Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts.

Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping in work areas.

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.

Able to work on call as needed.

Wears personal protective equipment at all times in the production area.

Report to work on time as scheduled.

Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on all plant manufacturing and support equipment.

Work as part of a team in a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.

Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.

Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.

Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 3 year(s) Industrial Maintenance experience with PLC's, conveyors, controls, and Operating Systems.

Electrical experience, AC and DC.

Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical drawings.

Proven track record of strong electrical troubleshooting.

Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, stoop, and bend.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of DOS, Windows XP, Windows NT.

Experience in programming and monitoring Programmable Logic Controllers on Siemens S7-400/S7-300, Allen-Bradley is a plus.

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.

College degree a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.

Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.

Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
