RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate Clamp Truck while following rules and procedures relative to the safe and efficient operation, also including reporting any missing, broken, bent, or worn parts of clamp truck to supervisor and/or maintenance.

Safely transport roll stock, at production pace, as required by PCA Pearl goals and productivity requirements to prevent the corrugator from having to slow down.

Alert to any obvious defects of incoming material by, inspection of rolls for incoming damage, minimize operational damage, and strip rolls as required.

Properly and safely stack rolls in orderly fashion to maximize the Roll stock area, while following

FIFO (first in first out) system.

Properly, safely, and accurately make starch batches for the corrugator.

Responsible for pick and stage orders load and unload trucks, while maintaining the inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.

Must be able to read a wet end line up and able to make adjustments as required.

Perform housekeeping responsibilities as required for starch kitchen and roll room.

Adheres to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED.

Strong safety background. Knowledgeable in LOTO and ISO 9001 FSSC.

Must be able to pass and maintain a certified tow motor license test.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.

Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice, both during the week and weekends.

Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures.

Ability to work any available shift (24/7 operation)

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience operating Clamp Truck in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Corrugator Wet End experience.

Experience in Corrugated packaging.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.

Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.

Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.

Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.

Have the ability to quickly develop the skills and abilities required to operate the machine

applied for.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned facility.
