Department Overview
Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions.. This position is in our Demand Planning Department
Job Description
Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, the primary responsibility of the Materials Planning Analyst will be the developing detailed production plans and coordinating production schedules to optimize the movement of goods through the manufacturing process.
Issues and revises schedules as necessary.
Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.
Monitors and maintains integrity of inventory levels of finished goods.
Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports including recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
APICS Certification preferred
Working knowledge of SAP is an asset
Basic Requirements
Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience preference given to those with operations management or supply chain background
3 years planning experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
