Duties and Responsibilities
- Create test plans and test procedures from functional specification and design documents for Hardware and Firmware of residential meters.
- Design tests beyond simple functional verification to include performance, boundary and negative testing.
- Interpret and present test results / metrics to project team in an effective manner.
- Develop and implement automated test methodologies.
- Verify resolution of resolved defects and lead in root cause analysis of reported defects.
- Ensure all products are compliant to the regulations of the country being sold at.
- Review and develop test records / logs / certificate documents.
- Interface with and review the work products of testing vendors for technical content and conformance.
- Ensure test records are accurate and complete.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in test or manufacturing engineering or product design.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (ANSI, IEC).
Education
Bachelors Degree in Engineering General or Electronics
