The Opportunity

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Expeditor position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. The Fabrication Expeditor plays a crucial part in managing work orders for manufacturing fabrication departments to ensure on-time delivery of products for production while meeting quality and safety standards with minimal inventory. About DTTP

Daikin Texas Technology Park- has a footprint of 4.23 million square feet under a single roof, and is the third largest factory in the United States. Opened in 2017 as the manufacturing, logistics, and engineering center for Daikin's American subsidiary Goodman, the plant makes heating and air conditioning products sold under the Goodman,Amana, and Daikin brands.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills:

    • Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office programs including Excel
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Be able to work in a high volume fast paced environment.
    • Strong and effective communication skills including verbal and written
    • Must be able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple orders/projects.
    • Be able to apply good judgement and logic to root cause issues to arrive at reasonable solution.

Experience:

    • 1 plus years of scheduling experience in a high volume high mix manufacturing environment.
    • Mapics experience is strongly desired

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
