M and A Accounting Mgr

The Finance Manager is responsible for financial analysis of during due diligence and integration of new acquisitions into Daikin Comfort North America financial policies and processes. Is a technical expert with deep exposure to accounting issues and reporting requirements, research and work with M&A teams on a broad spectrum of technical accounting. Evaluates targets' historical and projected earnings and cash flows; hidden contingencies, commitments, and tax exposures; as well as quality of assets and internal control structure.

• Advanced understanding and application knowledge of M&A accounting rules under US GAAP
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis including an advanced understanding of business combinations, purchase accounting, consolidation, inter-company transactions, and lease accounting
• Knowledge of purchase accounting rules and net working capital estimates and true ups
• Solid knowledge on internal controls and back-office process to be able to identify and correct control gaps along with identifying potential synergies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Ability to effectively interact with various departments inside/outside the organization, ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the business will be critical
