Position Overview
The RMA Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating the return, repair, modification, credit, loaning, or exchange of Beckwith Electric products that are processed through the Return Material Authorization (RMA) system and providing excellent customer service to maintain effective business relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Functions include answering incoming customer calls and emails, processing RMA orders, and help prioritize RMA repairs. More specific details of these duties are as follows:
a) Reviews incoming RMA’s for accuracy prior to data entry into system.
b) Enters RMA’s into system, quantity, pricing, product, reason for return, etc.
c) Responsible for accuracy of RMA data entered into system.
d) Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality seamless customer service.
e) Responsible for RMA history files which are scanned into the Beckwith Electric record retention system.
f) Communicates (verbally or in writing) with customers and reps concerning RMA’s status.
g) Assist with setting priorities of RMA repair activities to ensure a quick turnaround of RMA returns.
SECONDARY DUTIES
• Responsible for UI and RR Inventory
• Create and close Work Orders
• Maintain clean work area.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2 years’ experience working in an after-sales RMA service center or relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. Efficiency working with computers, and other office equipment.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Must have the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications; such as Word and Excel.
EQUIPMENT
Telephone, PC, Fax, Copier, Printer, Scanner, Calculator.
