Purpose of the Job

As the Associate Procurement Manager: Paper & Board Packaging North America, you will be responsible for fully managing the Folding Cartons portfolio in North America across various structures and brands. This position reports directly into the Procurement Manager for Paper & Board Packaging in North America.

Key goals:

  • Sourcing: Develop and execute the sourcing strategy for Folding Cartons in North America, meeting the specified needs of the Business.
  • Value Delivery: Work cross-functionally with both local and global counterparts to identify and implement value-based projects and initiatives
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, understand the importance of relationship dynamics
  • Sustainability: Deliver the sustainability agenda for Wood Based Packaging

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • BS/BA Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt, Engineering or relatable subject. MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 5 yrs experience in a Packaging related Procurement, Sales or Project Mgmnt Function
  • Experience in strategic sourcing development and contract negotiations
  • Very Strong Communication and Analytical skills: data/information analysis and presentation. Ability to read markets and convey findings along with recommendations, to the business
  • Comfort with systems: SAP CLM, USQS, SRS, Ariba, Anaplan, Velocity etc.
  • Experience in market forecasting, operations and supply chain dynamics
